Ablrate to Sponsor PGA EuroPro Tour Rookie of The Year 2019 17/09/2019

Ablrate Rookie of The Year 2019

We are very excited to announce that in partnership with the PGA EuroPro Tour we are sponsoring the Rookie of the Year 2019. All rookie players on the tour will compete for a £1000 prize pot over the season, with an overall winner will be announced at the Tour Championships at the end of October.

At Ablrate we have been a long-term supporter of the EuroPro Tour and we take pride in being able to help launch the careers of young golfers.  We’ve even sponsored golfers directly such as with the proud sponsorship of Luke Donnelly.

Ablrate was a start-up 5 years ago with just two members of the team in an office, we were lucky enough to attract people to back us and we now have made a successful business. The same could be said for the pros on this tour who are fundamentally start-ups in the golf world. It’s important to work hard, sacrifice lots, sell yourself and importantly attract backers. The PGA EuroPro Tour does a fantastic job of that and we are pleased to be involved.

Our CEO David Bradley-Ward said in the PGA EuroPro Tour Article: “The Ablrate.com Rookie of the Year is another commitment to that goal to boost the very newest of the pros on the PGA EuroPro Tour. We are excited about this new phase for the Ablrate/PGA Europro sponsorship.”

Rookies Who Have Won on the Tour This Season

Todd Clements (Brocket Hall) at Brocket Hall and Macdonald Hill Valley

Alfie Plant (Sundridge Park Golf Club) at Dudsbury Golf Club

Andrew Wilson (Rockliffe Hall) at Macdonald Linden Hall

PGA EuroPro Tour CEO, Daniel Godding added, “I’m delighted to have Ablrate title sponsor the Ablrate.com Rookie of the Year. They understand more than most the importance of having backers in their infancy of business in a much similar vein to our golfers as David mentioned so this partnership makes total sense. I cannot wait to see who comes out on top.”
