Ablrate Sponsors the PGA Europro Tour 24/05/2017

PGA Europro and Ablrate

One of the things that frustrates me the most is golf. It is a game that, in reality, you cannot win. Even if you were Tiger Woods at the height of his career you would still go home thinking about that missed putt or wayward drive that would have knocked one shot off your total. It’s a little like investing. There are always some investments you missed… Apple Inc at 25 cents, Amazon’s 54,000% share price increase, even Facebook at $18 more recently.. etc. So what would more appropriate to sponsor than the PGA EuroPro Tour? Nothing…. so that’s what we have done.

We tee-off with the Ablrate.com £100,000 Shoot-Out at Cumberwell Park Golf Club on Tuesday, June 27. All players competing in the subsequent GRENKE Championship, taking place at Cumberwell Park from June 28-30, will be eligible to enter a par-three challenge on June 27. The winner of the par-three contest will take home £1,000 and the top 25 players will then be joined by the professional winner of the Cumberwell Park Pro-Am for The Ablrate.com Shoot-Out.

If any player can ace the hole they will bring an end to proceedings and take home £100,000. In the event that no hole-in-one is made, the player nearest to the pin will win £1,000. The hole-in-one contest will be filmed for a special edition of the HotelPlanner.com PGA EuroPro Tour highlights show and will be shown on Sky Sports and networks covering 128 countries worldwide. Our CEO will be interviewed on the show and we will have a highlights reel available from the competition.

If you fancy coming along, please do it would be lovely to meet you!

Our Sponsorship of the PGA Euro Pro Tour will continue to the end of 2018 so we aim to host some events where we can, and you will be able to meet with our team at each event. We also get 4 pro-am team invites for the season, so if you are a good golfer, let us know and you can be in Team Ablrate!
